How to Become a Caster?

For our upcoming live stream production from Bochum Regional Championships we are still looking for a caster.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Live-Commentary of Pokémon matches:
    • Convey excitement and inform the viewer.
    • Explain what is happening, why and what the outcomes could be.
  • Basic OBS operations during the tournament:
    • switch scenes as and when appropriate
    • change the card scans that can be seen during the game
    • edit commands that can be used in the twitch chat
    • engage with the chat where possible
  • Help with the stream set-up on Friday

Your Qualifications:

  • Deep in-game knowledge of the Pokémon TCG
  • Very good English
  • Being able to travel to Bochum during the event
  • Experience at casting is very appreciated, but not necessary
  • Basic OBS skills are appreciated as well

Are you interested?

Please send us your application to lydia@limitlesstcg.com until the 08.12.2019. Your application should include:

  • A short introduction of yourself, which helps us to get to know you and your background in the Pokémon community
  • A demo-video showcasing your casting skills.
    • If you have already casted a Pokémon TCG event in the past 6 months, feel free to use this as your demo video.
    • If you have never casted before or don’t have a recent example to showcase your casting skills, please commentate over the first 10 minutes of the 2020 LAIC Masters Division Finals.

Playing at the Event

In case you are planning on participating at the Bochum Pokémon Regional Championships, you can find all important information on the Jokmok website. If you haven’t registered yet, make sure to do so, before the event is sold out!

What about the Video Game?

The Pokémon Video Game tournament will be streamed, but not by Limitless. Make sure to keep an eye on social media to not miss the announcement of the VG stream.
